Terms of service
All clients must agree to these terms and conditions. 5 Star Pampered Pets will not confirm any booking until a consultation has been carried out and a copy of these terms and conditions has been signed by the client.
All clients must fill in a consent form, Medical release form, pet care agreement, and a copy of these Terms and condition's. All clients must fill in an information update form when any of the following change: Address, Phone Number, Number of dogs to be walked unless you are looking after someone else's dog as a favor. The client must advise 5 Star Pampered Pets of any behavior problems and medical conditions your dog(s) may have. Here at 5 Star Pampered Pets body cam’s are now being used while out on walks for that extra peace of mind.
All Cats, Dogs, Rabbits and Horses must be kept up to date with vaccinations, as well as flea and worming treatments. Proof of this will need to be shown at the consultation. Please note 5 Star Pampered Pets will not accept any dog showing aggressive behavior. The client agrees to be responsible for all costs (including medical care and legal fees), in the event that a client’s dog should bite another dog or person. 5 Star Pampered Pets must be advised of any bitches in season and they will only be walked with the client’s permission and kept on lead.
We walk a maximum of 4 dogs together giving them the opportunity to walk as a part of a small pack which is their natural instinct, and to improve their social skills with other dogs. Until we get to know the dogs and they to know us and their ‘pack friends’, walks will be on a lead at all times. Any dog being picked up will be wearing harnessed and secured in the car with a seat belt clip, any seat belt clip damaged by your dog will result in extra charges to pay for replacement.
It is now law for all dogs to be securely fastened in the car, in result of not doing so the penalties are: Car insurance will be invalidated

Dog Walking/ Puppy Play Sessions
All dogs will NOT be walked off the lead without written permission from the owners (and only if I am confident in your dogs recall). No more than 4 dogs will be walked at any one time from the same household.
Full payment for services (agreed at time of booking) is to be made at the end of each walk/visit for individual bookings. For regular clients (three or more bookings per week) may be settled on a weekly/ monthly basis at the beginning of each week/ month. The first week/ month is payable in advance at the time of consultation visit.
Pet Sitting
Full payment for services (agreed at time of booking) is to be made before the client is due to go on holiday.
Dog Training
A consultation must be carried out to establish the best training plan to be used and a consent form must be signed. Any training to be carried outside will not go ahead if the weather is too bad, the decision will be made at the trainer’s discretion.
Any training techniques put in place should be followed without exception, if for any reason that a technique is found not to working after a few sessions then the trainer will put something else in place to try.
Any owner showing that they have not been following any of the techniques put in place all training will stop forthwith, and the trainer will leave.
Dog training techniques are put in place for the dogs well-being and to enable the owner to build confidence in controlling their dog using positive re-enforcement.
Equine Care
All horse passports must be present and up to date, the owner must have their horses insured. Under the terms and conditions 5 Star Pampered Pets will carry out the following:
Daily turnout if required, bring in and rug changes.
Daily care of stable, bedding and water.
Preparation of hay and feed.
Grooming and exercise.
Contacting and responsibility of handling for the farrier/ vet in an emergency.
Payment is always paid one week or a month in advance and paid on the first visit required. Please note consultation visit is not classed as the first visit.
EMERGENCIES
The client must provide 5 Star Pampered Pets with the name and contact number of their chosen veterinary surgeon. The client must also provide 5 Star Pampered Pets with a name and contact number of someone capable of making a decision relating to the pet(s) in an emergency. If the contact is not available, 5 Star Pampered Pets reserves the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision which is in the best interest of your pet, unless the pet needs to be put to sleep in which case this will be left to the owner to decide.
Any veterinary treatment necessary will be carried out by your chosen vet or the nearest one for emergency treatment and charged to you accordingly. The client is entirely responsible for any veterinary bills no matter how they are incurred whilst your pet is in the care of 5 Star Pampered Pets.
CANCELLATIONS AND PAYMENTS
All cancellations will require a minimum of 3 days notice. Failure to give the minimum notice will result in a 50% charge (half the client’s daily rate). Clients are asked to give as much notice as possible especially for block bookings. You must reschedule any appointments that you cancel, unless we are no longer needed.

Admen fees will be applied if phone calls, letters, or house calls have to be made to chase up any late payments.
